From sign-up to your first payment
Install App
Download the RedotPay app from the App Store or Google Play.
Create an Account
Sign up with an email address or phone number. If you arrive through a referral link, the referrer is filled in automatically.
Identity verification
Complete verification with your ID and a face scan. It usually takes anywhere from a few minutes to a day.
Apply for a card
The virtual card is issued as soon as you pay the issuance fee. If you have a discount code, enter it on this screen.
Load coins
Send coins to the address and network the app gives you.
Start paying
Add the card to a mobile wallet, or pay online with the card number.
What you need for verification
- ID documentA passport, driver's licence or national ID card. Which types are accepted depends on your country of residence.
- Face scanHold your face up to the camera as the app instructs. It tends to pass more easily in good light, with glasses and hats removed.
- Country of residenceSome countries are not served. Check first whether your country can be selected on the sign-up screen.
If the name you enter does not match the one on your ID, the application is rejected. It is safest to use the spelling exactly as it appears in your passport.
